The surface of glass is very smooth and very susceptible to scratches, here are the tools and steps used in the video.
Materials and tools used: flat polishing machine, backed sandpaper sheets, polishing compound, wipes, water
1. Clean the surface with water (using a surface cleaner if necessary) and wipe with a towel or microfiber cloth.
2. Determine the depth of the scratches, choose the appropriate abrasive grain number
3. Apply the abrasive to the scratches using coarse grit sandpaper in a sequence and repeat until the scratches are removed.
4. Use fine grit sandpaper to repeat the position sanding to even out the abrasive.
5. Using ultra-fine grit sandpaper, continue to repeat the sanding, the abrasive will become lighter and lighter with finer grit sandpaper.
6. Spray the polisher with plenty of water to keep it moist and continue polishing with the ultra-fine sandpaper, evenly polishing the entire range of abrasive, not polishing at the same point for too long to ensure that the glass does not overheat.
7. Until the abrasive dries from the clay, then spray a small amount of water and repeat the polishing process. Until the abrasive is gone.
8.Finally clean the glass using water and a fiber cloth.
