Jade polishing, process and steps are more, jade polishing for the last process. Polishing determines whether the luster of the jade is even and when it is crystal clear.
There are two types of polishing in the jade industry: machine polishing and hand polishing. Machine polishing saves time and trouble, and costs less for quick results, but the effect is not very good, not fine enough, easy to wear away the corners of the jade, and the details and crevices of the polishing effect is relatively poor. Hand polishing, consume long time, high cost, but because the time invested is longer, polishing more delicate, so the jade luster is relatively uniform, better quality.
Jade polishing effect is divided into, matte, natural light matte, bright and so on. Matte is the latest craftsmanship, the surface has subtle traces of frosting, the luster is on the dark side, and it needs to be played with by hand for the luster to be fully reflected. Natural matte has a more natural luster, not dark or bright, and is more rustic. The glossy surface is very bright and reflective, so you can see the inner structure of the jade, and the color is a bit off-white.
